ZLOVENSKO

A visual installation consisting of 12 simple drawings created in a basic digital drawing program and printed on poster paper. The work responds to the social and political climate in Slovakia, particularly the increasing presence of hate speech in public discourse. It reflects on the deconstruction of language and its ambivalent nature – its ability to insult, manipulate, and emotionally influence individuals and society. Through a deliberately kitsch pink aesthetic, the work exposes the mechanisms of linguistic distortion and culminates in the revelation of a single standard word, “ZVODCA,” which functions as a critical and paradoxical focal point.
